If a QAC student is interested in participating in the Ambassador Program, email Julie Kille at julie.kille@qacps.org and please include the subject line of 'Ambassador Program.'
This program allows students to learn the facts about substances while sharing messages and information with their peers and QAC community members. These students have monthly meetings at the BOE. They support QAC Goes Purple events and activities that support their messages. Students are provided with leadership opportunities and activities that promote teamwork. The Ambassadors' service hours are tracked and the students are recognized by the QA County Commissioners in the spring of each year.
It is made up of QAC students from public and private schools. We currently have students participating from QACPS and the Gunston School.
Check out the QAC Drug Free Student Ambassador’s Christmas Tree at the YMCA in Centreville. They funded this project with the SAMHSA prize money they won!
